July 2008 - Construction Institute Scholarship and Student Days

The Construction Institute Chapter of the San Francisco and Sacramento Sections, ASCE will be awarding 10 or more Construction Scholarships for the 2008/2009 academic year.
Qualification and selection criteria are:
- Enrollment in a Civil / Construction Program as a Junior or First-Year Senior.
- Membership as a Construction Institute Student Member or membership in an ASCE or
Contractors Association Student Chapter within the San Francisco and Sacramento
Section boundaries and Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo and University of Nevada, Reno.
- A one page essay competition - Topic: "My Future in Construction."
- Attendance at one of the local C.I. Dinner Programs is desirable if distances are feasible.
Student Days Conference
- Awardees will be notified of their selection by September 20, 2008.
- Scholarships will be awarded September 28, 2008 at the C.I. Student Days in
Burlingame, California. Awardees will be guests of the Construction Institute.
